Make sure under network settings on the 98 client, the workgroup field is set to the wins name of your domain....
eg: wins name for 2k domain thisismydomain.com is THISISMY
eg: wins name for 2k domain thisismydomain.com is THISISMY

vesselescape is on the money. On w98 machines Workgroup is the default. Open up network connections, second tab over. Good luck. Glen A. Johnson
