I want to make my domain work between two locations. I'm thinking of either running wins or dns which do you think would be best ? also Both networks are behind routers what ports do I need to open up and how would I go about setting this up? any suggestions would be very helpful

A simple way to do it, would be to get 2 of the VPN endpoint routers and create a permanent tunnel. Have a DC at each site, and with the VPN they will believe they are on the same LAN. You should only need to open port 1723 on your routers, but the configs can depend on what kind of router you have...
Hope that helps! Thanks,

Matt Wray
