Search on here about doing system backups. Other than that, I suggest "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". The 4000 V5 is fairly reliable, but it's end of life by the manufacturer. If it dies, you won't get support from Unify. If you plan on keeping it and it's important, I'd look into your upgrade options.
