I am in the process of upgrading our document server which holds all our Office documents. The new server will be a replacement for the old one and I have maintained the same naming strategy, directory structures and the drive mapping will be the same on the client machines.
I have tested a number of linked Execl spreadsheets and Word documents and there doesn't appear to be a problem.
Does anyone have any experience of doing this that they could pass onto me, I guess I am just after approval that the way I have done this will work!!!
