When clicking a certain button (electronic journals) in my menu,
sub menu is opened in the buttom frame
and an asp page in the main frame(the asp part is located in the INTRANET only).
When trying to click another button, only the
sub menu is changing, but the main frame is stuck on the asp page.
It happens only with NN6 and only with this asp link.
Is anyone familiar with these problems?
Any suggestions?
(P.s. - Other links are opened with no problem).

The url:

Thanks in advance

Is this a JavaScript issue? If not, perhaps you'd like to find a more appropriate forum. We do have a HTML/DHTML forum here that this might be better solved in. If it does relate to JavaScript, you might want to describe how.

OOPS, I forgot to mention:
The problem is when clicking "electronic journals" in the main menu, and THEN
CLICKING THE "JOURNAL LIST" in the sub menu.
That's when the asp page is opened, and that's when the problems begin in NN6. the asp page is in the INTRANET, but I hope u can still see the problem.

tanderso , I have no idea if it concerns JS.
Maybe it is and maybe not.
I'll post it to another forum as well.
Thanks.

Ok. Now I know it's not an asp stuff. I switched
the asp page with html. I.e. The problem accurs
even when I saved the asp page as an html page(after loading),
so the problem is in the javascript part. But I didn't
find the NN6 validator. How can I reach it? (previous nn versions used: "javascript:" in the location bar. Doesn't work here).

tanderso, thanks for trying to help. I played with it and can tell u that:

Now I know the exact problem:
It has nothing to do with asp or intranet. The problem is
opening an external link inside a frame in NS6.
After u do that, picking another link from the
menu, does not change that frame anymore.
But choosing a link from the current submenu
will change the link.
I talked to someone having the very same probelm,
so it's not an error in my code.
I validated the code so, there's no probelm in the code.

Only NN6 gives me the error of: "uncaught exception: null" lino 0 col 0".

I tried: <a href=' target='frameName'>

as well as onclick inside the href:<a...onclick="parent.frameName.location.href='
It does not matter if the href="#" or a value.

It's a probelm to send the code. Even if I send an example of the code, it must incluse all frames code.
R u sure u want all that?
Any suggestions?
