I've had this problem for some time now. A program I work on has screen size of 1024 * 768. My machince monitor settings are 1024 * 768. The maximum design area is set to none.

When I modify my screens I only see part of the form, probably 800 * 600. The rest is just white (ie white space down the left and white space at the bottom). I've tried changing the max design area, is there something else I can change?

Go to Tools->Options->Forms->Maximum design area. Change it to 1024x768 and Save as default.

Are re-open your form in design mode, it should be OK. Mike Gagnon

Hi, I've already tried this. Unfortuantely with no look.

No the default has diffinately been saved. I've tried this a few times over the pass few months. However nothing appears to change. If I set the design area to the minimum this does reduce the area. However the right hand side and the bottom area is greyed out not white. When I set the area to what I require the sides are white. I still cannot see the whole form.

Thanks

Bebbo,
Check you registry settings to see if they are really being updated. Run REGEDIT, and navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\VisualFoxPro\7.0\Options\ and check the values for ResHeight and ResWidth. If they aren't what you expect, this may be the problem.

Note: Change the 7.0 to 5.0 or 6.0 for the version of VFP you are using.
