I am using the Shell Execute method for Mailto:

stext="mailto:douglasp&Subject=Error From VB Program 11 Division by zero&Body=Put your Body Text here if needed"

Call ShellExecute(Me.hwnd, "open", stext, vbNullString, vbNullString, SW_SHOWNORMAL)

Which works great but it brings up the mail program and I have to press "send" to get it to go.
Is there a parameter that can be added to the string so it will not stop.
And just send the e-mail right out.

In Access '97 this is done by putting a "False" at the end.
DoCmd.SendObject acSendNoObject, "", acFormatTXT, Email, , , "Order Confirmation", EmailInfo, False

TIA
Don't know - have you considered sendkeys - to push the button from within your VB program?
