I'm setting up a mailmerge document which points to an ODBC data source which is a TXT file (tab delimited).
There's only ever one record in the file and its being pulled into word to create a letter.
I've successfully created one letter out of three. Both of the other two are causing me the same problem. When I try to "Get Data" through the Mailmerge wizard, I select "MS Query", select the ODBC source, choose the fields I want (I can even browse every one!) then move through the select and sort tabs (without picking anything) and get the error:
"Word was unable to open the datasource"
It's driving me mad!! Anyone any ideas? If I send the results to file I can see them so the data is there.
Thanks in advance,
