Mailbox stays hidden

I have 5 mailboxes that I keep hidden from the GAL. Occasionally someone may need access to them so I unhide them and add a profile for the user or add the mailbox to be opened by that user under their main mailbox.
The issue I am having now is that I uncheck the hide option and I still can't see the mailbox in the GAL.

Any ideas?

Mailbox info is chached by exchange for a default 2 hours. Wait 2 hours, or change the cache timeout.

Where exactly is that cache timeout setting?

Couldn't find that setting but I did uncheck the hide from GAL or whatever and left it over night and it still doesn't show up in the GAL.

Seems a reboot fixed the issue though i did that before. I also added back the @local.com email which I removed and replaced with our offsite email of @domain.com. Don't think that had anything to do with it but it is working again now.
