Mailbox rights issue

Greetings:

I have given access to a mailbox for a user. Four others can access the box. We are met with the message "unable to open folder" the user was added through mailbox rights in active directory. Is there anything else we can check to see what the problem is?

Don't grant access through AD, use Outlook on the client. Grant access to the mailbox first then the folder/s.
