I am having a problem with an exchange server setup that i have inherited. The problem i am having is that the way they want the mail boxes set up is so that certain users have access to certain mail folders.
The problem i am having is when it comes to changing the permissions on the mailBxs Directory, for some mailboxes the admin account is denyed any permissions on the directory. And so are all other domain admins. This is not the case for all mailboxes. The problem is i cant just change the permissions to allow the admin accounts permissions to the directories as these permissions are handed down from the parent object. Now im fairly new to exchange, so how do i get round this?????
Because, it seems strange to me that the admin accounts do not have full control of these directories.
