Mailbox Manager from SP3 on Exchange 5.5 SP4

Has anyone experienced any issues using the mailbox manager tool from Exchange5.5 SP3 CD running on an Exchange5.5 SP4 server? Do not want to use the Mailbox Cleanup Agent due to many limitations. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I am running six Exchange 5.5 SP4 servers and use the mailbox cleanup agent occasionally. I can't recall when I installed it though. It was a few years ago so it may have been from Exchange 5.5 SP3 or earlier. The only thing that I noticed after installing it is that a couple of our Exchange 5.5 servers would occasionally lock up for no reason. The way that I've remedied this is to reboot the Exchange servers once a month and to leave the "Microsoft Exchange Mailbox Manager" service stopped on the server unless it is being used.

We run Mailbox Manager on 5.5 SP4 on every mailbox server (to clean the Sent Items folders of messages older than 21 days). It works okay.
