Hello everyone. I am new to this forum and to fixing anykind of phone/voicemail system, so please correct me if I say something wrong. Also excuse my ignorance if I explain something incorrectly.
First off, we have a Nortel Norstar system wiht CallPilot 100. Before the Christmas holidays we could retrieve our voice mail (we only use the generaldelivery mailbox) by pressing *983 (or pressing the CALL soft button on the Norstar 7310 phone we have on port 221. Our call answer is port 235. One of the bosses was retrieving the messages remotely from his home when he somehow changed the password on the mailbox. Now when we try to retieve the message from the office phone it won't accept the password we used before, which was 1111. Any password we try to enter is not accepted and the display says "mbox locked". I think it also said to see the administrator but I'm not sure.
My question is, is there a way to reset the password to the default password or even to reset the whole system if need be?
Regards to all.
