Mail non- delivery problem

I am running Exchange 2000. I keep getting messages back with the message:

"This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification.
THIS IS A WARNING MESSAGE ONLY.
YOU DO NOT NEED TO RESEND THIS MESSAGE.
Delivery to the following recipient has been delayed"

This is followed sometime later with a message that says:

"Your message did not reach some or all the intended recipients.
Could not deliver the message in the time limit specified."

This happens to all AOL & various misc. addresses. Most all other delivery goes thru as normal.

Any ideas? Thanks.

Get someone who knows Exchange to come and and check your server and environment.

I am dealing with a similiar problem at work with Lotus Notes. 98% of our delivery failures are GOOD AOL addresses.
It seems like there is some AOL server side software
prohibiting deleivery; but getting through to anyone at AOL
is problematic. I have been trying to solve this for months
