I am currently trying to do a mail merge in Word from an Access database. I want to have my records sorted by last name and the mail merge does not provide me the option to sort by record so it is sorting it by client ID which is a pain as it is not in alpahbetical order. (The tab Filter by record appears but i can not pick the sort by record) I was wondering if anyone had any ideas to why this is so.
thanks

Base you merge on a query and sort the query by Surname should do it
