I have a series of mail merges set up with their respective source files, and everything works fine.....until one of the source files is empty. The contents of the source files changes weekly, and from time to time can conceivably be empty. This presents a problem. I cannot error trap this, because before the error is reported, a prompt appears asking for a data source, which locks up the macro which is updating all of the merges. Is there a way around this problem, so that the merge can just be skipped and the next one carried out? I have considered opening each source file using VBA and checking for data, but if there's a quicker way..............

Thanks in advance,
