Hello all!
Can anyone help me in finding out why the error:
1160: malformed address <wrongaddress@mycompany.com>
is not being reported in my mail.log file??
This error occurs when the company Exchange server can not resolve the "To" email address: wrongaddress@mycompany.com
Other errors like the following are reported in mail.log file without any problem:
1168: Unable to connect to mail server
1052: Need Rcpt command.
but the mail.log file is not altered when the recepient is a wrong email address which can not be reached by the Exchange server!!!
Obviously is something possible since our Intranet Development can do it and our Intranet Test Server can not!
Is there any place where to indicate which kind of errors are shown in the mail.log file?
I can only see in the Cold Fusion Administrator the Mail Logging -> Error Log Severity -> Information / Warning / Error
I will appreciate A LOT any clue about this!!!!
THANKS!
