Mail hosting outsourcing recommendations?

Are there any mail hosting companies anyone can recommend for personal e-mail? I don't need Web hosting ... just reliable e-mail hosting for a small number of personal mailboxes.

Here's why: I've got a domain I'm not currently using that I'd like to set up for e-mail for my family. Requirements are both Webmail and POP3/SMTP access, about 10 mailboxes (or more), and a cost not to exceed $10/month, total.

I checked out one firm that provides both Web and mail hosting for $5/month, but found out it uses iAdvantage as its upstream ISP and that's blocked by SPEWS as a spam-friendly ISP ... so that's not likely to be a reliable option for e-mail.

I also don't want to fall into the trap of choosing solely on price and having the hosting company fail shortly after I sign up.

Suggestions, based on personal experience? Thanks.

Never mind: I found a Web hosting company that meets my email needs for $3/month, cheaper than my existing Web hosting company could add e-mail alone for another domain. And the service is fine for a personal account. No need to respond to the previous post. Thanks.
