1- Message Is Delayed in Outbox When You Reply to a Message in a Team or Group Mailbox
SYMPTOMS
When you reply to a message in a team mailbox or group mailbox, the reply message appears to be stuck in the Outbox. However, the message is sent.
CAUSE
This behavior occurs when you select the In folders other than the Inbox, save replies with original message check box. (To do this, click Options on the Tools menu, click the E-mail Options button, and then click the Advanced E-mail Options button.)
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Microsoft Office XP.
WORKAROUND
To work around this issue, follow these steps:
On the Tools menu, click Options .
Click the E-mail Options button, and then click the Advanced E-mail Options button.
Click to clear the In folders other than the Inbox, save replies with original message check box.
2- Messages That Have EFD or MAPI Forms Are Not Automatically Sent
SYMPTOMS
If you have more than one service in a profile in Outlook 2002, messages with Electronic Forms Designer (EFD) forms or MAPI forms may stay in the Outbox and not be sent until you click Send/Receive .
CAUSE
This can occur because of a problem with the Outlook Protocol Manager.
RESOLUTION
A supported fix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem described in this article and should be applied only to systems experiencing this specific problem. This fix may receive additional testing at a later time, to further ensure product quality. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, Microsoft recommends that you wait for the next Office XP Public Update that contains this fix.
