Hi, I want to check my Exchange server 2003 for POP3 connectivity. I have a mail server running on Debian woody and would like to configure the Debian server to forward mails of a specific account to Exchange server. What can I do to acheive it? I can also install Linux on a test server from scratch and do it over there instead of messing with my present production server. Thanks in advance!

Regards,
Chkmg

First we would need to know what 'mailserver' you are using...
Sendmail, Postfix, qmail, something else ?

Thanks for your swift reply. We are running Exim, hope you have a solution to it, take care!

:-) sadly not ( I use qmail, used sendmail before that...)
There will be someone along shortly I am sure.

Thanks for your consideration BIS, I also hope there will be someone who knows how to do it :-)

You can try Fetchmail using specific account and pop3.

Thanks Ady2k, what I understand from above is that I dont have to configure Linux server at all. All I need to configure is the Exchange server, right? But how can I configure the Linux server so that it realizes all my accounts belong to one organization and send all of those to my Exchange server? I understand that in real world scenario its done by the ISP or our webhotel but since I wanna implement both sides in my lab, I need to do it.
I would really appreciate you time in eleborating it further, thanks in advance!

Plz ignore my last post. I didn't know it is a tool on Linux side. I have understood it now and would ask my friend who happens to be comfortable with Linux to do it for me.
