Customer wants to transfer calls to a calling group with one button that will transfer and release the call at the same time. They say they had this before someone changed the button programming. HOw do I program a button to transfer to group 185 and release?

At the phone that wants the button:

Intercom > Speaker > #00 (pound zero zero) Press the Button you want to use > Dial *22, and 185 > Press enter > Pick up the hand set, hang up th ehand set.

That should do it.

Thanx for that tip! Will this work over the PTP network? So I have ext 772 programmed to another PBX over a T1 and it is a calling group extension on the other end will this send the call and drop the line in one button push?

It should work.

The magic that makes 772 go to the other system is done in the UDP Routing table.

So, your local switch should see that button as an inside auto dial to 772, and the routing table will send it down the road.
