There have been quite a few questions lately on clearing CMOS passwords and easy formatting/partitioning. This freeware claims to do both, I have not tried it yet as my test system currently has no FDD and I am too cautious to run it on my main setup. Could be a very handy tool though

HEADS UP
I have now tested this tool, ran it on an old but reliable 486.

1. First I merely had a look about, did not actually run any tests or utils, however it killed the MBR, had to boot from my own util disk and run fdisk /mbr to regain access to the HDD.

2. The clear CMOS util did not work

Sorry about that [blush]
