Machine Access

Exchange 5.5 box. I am having trouble accessing a single exchange server. When I press CTRL-ALT-DEL the machine does not respond, or it responds allowing me to type in the password to logon and the logon never completes. The machine just hangs in a state between entering the password, and being able to access the GUI interface. I have checked all of the connections and changed out keyboard mouse, just to eliminate those two areas, and those are not the problem. This is not happening with any other machines be they servers or workstations.

Try starting the server in safe mode and viewing the event logs.

Thank you for the reply I should have stated befoe that I have tried exactly what you suggested and I saw nothing was recorded in the event logs.
