I need help connecting a Mac 9.1 system to Windows server 2000. The Mac does not have tcp/ip installed, only appletalk. Any help would be appreciated.

Best bet is to install TCP/IP on the MAC, which I am not sure how to do. Maybe best asked in a Mac forum. I guess the other alternative would be to install the Apple Talk protocol on the Windows Server.
Start-Settings-Network and Dial Up Connections
Right Click on the appropriate LAN connection and click Properties
Click Install - Protocol - Add
Choose Apple Talk. You may need the Windows 2000 disk
Not sure on what needs to be configured.
