We are setting up some new iMacs with osx 10.4.10 to connect to our active directory domain.
All the servers are running 2003 server sp2, we can authenticate to the network, but home folder fails to mount when connecting to some servers, and works well on at least one server.
If I force local home I can login but network folder in the dock is a question mark.
When not forcing local home Iogin fails with error relating to home folder when logging in to a bad server.
The problem appears to be with kerberos as the DC server logs record a Pre-authentication failed error
The server where the home folder is locaated records no errors (or sucess) in the logs
The SMB signing is set as suggested for the domain, and all servers are in the same domain.
I have tried everything suggested here and on other forums to no avail.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
