Hello,
I have recently aquired a number of MacOS X machines and I am having probs with the authentication process.

I am logging on to a w2k domain but for some reason I am restricted to 8 character passwords for the Mac. I thought, as with pre OS X Macs I could install the UAM Volume and be able to authenticate the user using the Microsoft authentication process which does not have an 8 character limitation. Am I doing something wrong? I have installed the UAM Volume but I am still limited to 8 character passwords. Even if I run classic mode the same problem is there.

Any Advise would be greatly appreciated
