If you mean the annoying override that it does where the shortcut function keys don't work in particular programs, here's how to fix it: (First, you'll have to lose anything that's been assigned to these keys. If you don't want to do this, stop here.)
Go to Control Panels - Keyboards.
At the bottom of this dialog box, click on the "Function Keys.." button.
Remove any assignments.
Click on the checkbox at the bottom that says "Use F1 through F12 as function keys"
Click Okay.
Now you have your good ol' function keys back for quickly adding those keyframes. This will apply to all programs that utilize function key shortcuts.
