I tried to add 6 coputers to permitted list in mac filtering , but my linksys router only permit the first 3 macs in the permitted mac list

Must be a maximum you reached or a bug with the firmware. Have you updated to the latest possible firmware?? What model? Always post brand/model, etc., etc., etc., etc. - the more info the better.
