mac explorer 5.2

Hi
Just been doing a website and i amd stuck on some css for mac explore 5.2. I was looking for the answers but most forums involving mac 5.2 stuff saying that the browser is out of date and its not worth programming for it.

Is this true??

Microsoft ceased development of IE for the Mac early last year (I believe). They did this (partly) because Apple were shipping Safari as the default browser - or maybe Apple started shipping the OS with Safari because MS threatened/wanted to end IE for the Mac development.

Regardless, the market share of IE 5.2x for Mac is dwindling daily and will never increase.

I personally work towards IE 5.2x compatibility for sites I'm involved with, but I don't aim for perfection in that browser any longer.

If you are starting out as a web developer, I would focus on IE (windows), FF, Moz, NN, Opera and Safari (Mac) before you bother with IE Mac.
