I'm learning Windows 2000 for MSCA and i need some help. I have a DHCP Domain Controller Server. I'm changing over to high speed cable internet from my other network, and i want to know how to change the MAC Address of mu network card to match my ISPs.

First of all you can't change your Mac (Media access Card) address. It is a unique number linked to your network card.
WHAT are you trying to do here. why do u want to change your mac address to your isp??? Jimmy

Your MAC addrss cannot readily be changed but there are some routers that allow MAC address cloning.

Rogers matches their MAC Address of your modem to your network card or router. Now what I want to do is clone a MAC Address so my server can use the modem (In Windows 2000 Server)

The reason why i'm not phoning them up to change their MAC Address, is because I currently have 2 networks, one for learning Windows 2000 Pro and server (for mcsa) and a personal gaming one, and i use the modem mostly for my personal network.

actually, some NIC software DOES support changing the MAC address by altering the "locally administered address". Of course, you'd have to check with the manufacturer....
