Hi

We have 10 phones at a remote office (6 3905, 4 i2002)
4 of the 3905's started flashing red ( headset, mute, message waiting, and the double jack button on the far left)
also they are on the same card (27 0 0 7 - 27 0 0 10)
had someone move working phone there and same thing.

Can someone help please

Thanks

Trevor

From the TN's I make the assumption that this is an Option 11. Make sure that the Amphenol connectors at the bottom of the rack that corresponds to these sets is fully connected and has not come loose. They tend to come loose from one end, which might be why they are all at the upper end of the card.

Probably cabling issue or could possibly be the line card if the other phones are working fine. Try reseating the line card.

sounds like a bad card... i would replace it.. about 99 percent on that one... could be layer one as sugested but, one pair and if it was open, no lights.. rolled no lights flashing... maybe a cross would do that but it would be rare..

Hi

Thanks for the advice,

I moved one pair to known good tn and still the same problem,

I moved my phone to 27 10 (problem tn) and it works here.

I reset the MCK's on both sides and the phones came back up, i really did not think that was the problem as 2 phones were still working through the MCK.

Thanks Again

Trevor
