Try pressing the "Program" key - top right, closest to the red lamp.

thanks for the replies. i think i got a defective TN. I tried to move to another TN & the 2616 unit worked fine.

Moving it also releases it, if you move it back it should work also.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.
