I'm not aware of any reason why you can't program four M2250s on four separate cards, with the remaining ports of each card programmed with digital sets. Would there be a problem with this configuration?

My 2250's, be it only 2, are on different cards. Are you not able to program 4, or not able to program them on different cards?

I'm not aware, but I have a customer that is having issues with programming features on these four cards after he has put the M2250s on the four separate cards. I was just checking. I have not ever heard of not being able to do this. Thanks

I have a number of customers who have 4 or more M2250 spread across different Digital Line cards and they have no issues. I always thought this was standard practice so that a faulty digital line card doesn't take down more than 1 operators console.

I too understood it to be this way as well, but wanted to confirm before I started digging into troubleshooting my customers problem. Thanks

Yep, I have customers with this. I've also configured many consoles in various ways such as 4 consoles on one card (Bad practice) and I think up to 8 consoles all on their own card on different IPE shelfs.

None of them caused any problems.

All the best

If it's working, then leave it alone!.

I have two M2250s on one card and a third on a separate card and this have been working fine for years.
