When the console calls an internal ext the M3900 type phone does not show any of the soft keys (Trn, Ao3. Is this by design or is it a bug?

it is because the console has the control of the call, the 39xx set cannot trn or conf the console call, you did not see that on a 2xxx phone but if you tried to trn or conf you would not have been able too. There is no problem.

correct answer, the console controls all calls that it touches.. call the operator and try to hang up, you can't, she has to rls to knock the call down
