Help!

I just installed Exchange 2000. It showed M drive. But some reason I rename the server name. But I didn't restart the server jet but at the same time I install SP4 pack. After finishing update to SP4. I restart the server. But M drive doesn't exist. The imformation store doesn't start. Please help me ASAP to resolve this problem. Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure what you mean by optional or trusted ports but behind the firewall means protected like the workstations. If your FW has a DMZ (maybe that's your optional port) you COULD put it there but I'd just put it behind and open the appropriate ports needed for OWA access. It'll make it easier for the clients to connect that are ON the network.

have you tried to see in the Event Log anything regarding the IS service? could be 7031, or others.
please reply with the errors, and we will see from there...
