LVM Utility Bug ? 1

This one is really strange.
I have 3 different PC's. Each one has a different Manger Version on it.
#1 9.0.3.0
#2 9.1.1.0
#3 9.1.3.0

I started out on the #3 PC. Tried to convert several files for Embedded VM. Auto Attendant, Announcement 1, Announcement 2 and Greetings. All files were as per Avaya specs.
All I get is an Error Code telling me to look in the LOG. (Never did find the Log)

So I go to the #2 PC and it does the same thing.

Now when I go to the #1 PC, everything converts without any issues

I decided to take it on and see if it was an operating system problem with my PC's. We removed the Manger on every PC and changed it to a different version. All three versions tried on all PC's. Operating systems are Windows XP and Windows 7 Pro

Only 9.0.3.0 will let me convert

Anyone know about this?

I had this same issue with 9.1.1 software the other day when converting some greetings. I went to another PC that was running 9.0.3 and was able to convert the files as well. I attributed it to another bug with Avaya, but since I don't use LVM that much I didn't attempt to find another solution.

Try "Run as Administrator" on the Manager.exe ... this is our workaround at 9.1.4. Good luck!
 
If someone has IPOSS for an embedded voicemail IPO it would be good to raise a SR with Avaya to get it fixed in further releases. Avaya has managed to start Manager without admin privileges but it seems that LVMGreeting.exe wants to write files into restricted folders.

You can place a link on your Desktop or somewhere else to start the exe directly (as admin) and not from within Manager.
