We have a small 4 port Audix system. I'd like to be able to administer it remotely on our network by connecting to a channel in the Digiport server as we do with the PBX. Currently, the only method is via the modem. I see a 9 pin male serial port on the modem card - I wonder would that be an admin port?

Further research determined the card is an ACY54 Remote Maintenance Board. I found a manual online - no luck with the COM port yet. I may need to try it with various serial adapters such as a null.

What version of Intuity software is it?

On our MAP 5 5.1 I can go into the UNIX Management screen from the main menu and then Modem/Terminal Administration.

Here's the version I see when logging in:
'Welcome to Intuity AUDIX 4.4 which is Year 2000 Compliant.
This system runs on Unixware 1.1 (based on UNIX 4.2) which have been included'
I saw the managent screen - just seems like the COM port isn't responding.

The modem/terminal admin screen turns on/off the serial port on the motherboard, not the AYC54.

Ok thanks - I may be onsite again this week to look at it again.
