I need to access Lucents historical data on the switch. However, when I go to access it through bcms, it will only give me averages of the calls per agent. I do not need averages, I need the data before the averages are taken. Is there a way I can access the database, before the switch starts calulating averages.

Thanks,
Acura

Unless you purchase a $50,000.00+ CMS system or a $10,000.00 BCMS package, you cannot.

However, The switch does give you accurate readings on the list bcms agent and list bcms split reports, for the queues.

The switch retains the last 24 hour/halfhour interval reports for these and the last 7 day reports.

Where are these averages, you are talking about?

Which report?

We have the BCMS, and is does give out reports. However it calulates the average time an agent spends with a certain VCD. Is there anyway to get statistics from the switch. Does the switch track all calls (duration, from who). Basically, we need to find out the length of each call. It must store it, because the BCMS does retrieve it, but does calculations for the averages etc.

The BCMSvu software package basically performs the list bcms commands on the switch. Same as doing this from the command line in Definity or ASA.

BCMSvu is referred to as a "Cradle" software package, (in the "Cradle to Grave" analogy. It reports on ACD call information in limited detail and averages.

CMS is the "Cradle to Grave" software package you would need to find out the detail you are looking for.

I am not aware of any command line commands other than the "list bcms commands" that would give you any more detail without the CMS addition.
