I have a Definity G3csi with V6 using Loop Start trunks. There is a problem that suddenly appeared where if a person dials out, the called party can't hear them for the first few seconds. After verifying that the trunks are good, I discovered that the problem was with the Tone Clock. The sound was restored once the Tone Clock was disconnected from the trunk after the connection. Is it possible that I have a bad Tone Clock (TN2182B) or CO Trunk (TN747B)? I didn't change any configuration when this problem arose, so I don't think it's a software issue.
There are no alarms or errors with either circuit pack. Since the system is in another state, I want to make sure I'm replacing the right stuff before I ship the replacement parts.
