When you boot into maintenance mode, /usr is not mounted so the ls command is not available to display file names. Is there something else under /bin or /sbin or somewhere else that you can use instead? Thanks.
a. Boot using AIX 5L CD 1 or 5
b. Select Console
c. Select Language
d. Select 'Start Maintenance Mode for System Recovery'
e. Select 'Access Root Volume Group'
f. Select 'Access Root Volume Group and start a shell'
