I keep getting a "low registry space" warning on a laptop. The system only has 56 Mg RAM but I am not trying to multi task. Any one have any suggestions? The laptop is so old I doubt if I can find a memory upgrade. Pentium III processor. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks

1. Login as administrator
2. Right click My Computer -> Properties -> Advanced tab -> Performance Options -> Change
3. Look in the current size of the Registry and maximum size, then increase it.
For a comparison, mine has a max size of 55Mb with a current size of 29Mb.
4. I would reboot after doing this, even if you are not prompted to.
