I have a real problem in that I have a number of full client reports that are published and viewed by Webi users.

The users have the option to refresh these reports but when they do there is a problem.

Up until recently we had 6 Division Descriptions that the users could select from - however this has now changed and there are now 8. When the user presses the refresh button all the prompts are displayed along with a box alongside each to "show values" - when this is pressed is shows the old list not the new one - even when the "refresh list" button is selected the same OLD values are shown - it seems to me that the "refresh list" button is not sending a query to the database to get the refreshed values.

This refresh works when the report is opened in full client but even doing that and republishing to corporate does not alter the issue.

Does anyone know where full client reports get their list of values from when the report is viewed through Webi - is there a list somewhere on the web server that I need to delete to enable this new list to become effective ?

Please someone help !!!

TIA

I am not into Webi, but it should be quite simple to perform a check on the webserver itself based on the .lov name. Possibly deleting it will trigger a refresh?

It did turn out to be that - must be that webi docs do a select distinct when refresh on open but the full client version used the lov associated with the universe object - I refreshed the universe lov locally and then exported with the export lov with universe checked and the new lov was then available for the full client reports.

Thanks for your input.
