I know this subject has been brought up before, but I'm really stuck right now.

We already have a sound masking system with speakers throughout the building. We are looking to add a paging function to it. The amp is a Peavey, model MMA-8150T. I purchased the "Telephone paging module", model #TPM-S2 from Peavey. I installed it. Keep in mind the amp is not by our PBX. I used a regular wire to connect the port on the aux board to the end-jack where the amp is. On the wire going to the amp, i used the two blue wires.

I programmed the G3 for paging to that port # with an access code of 555. When I press 555, it says Paging on the phone, gives an "OK" tone, but then I get no audio through the speakers.

I have read in some places you need a coupler, like the universal coupler, model 909. I also have read in the same document, that you dont need one.

I actually do have a 909 coupler available if I need to use one, but I have no idea how to wire it up. The diagrams on Avaya's site really werent much help. Theres only 3 RJ11 jacks on the right side, and someone mounted a Model 383 or 353? interface on top of it, with one RJ45 jack to the right that says System 25, the other side has 2 RJ45 jacks, one says something about voice.

Any help would be appreciated!!

I'm not familiar with the Peavy, but I can tell you that I went into a Bogan paging module and didn't have any problems, nor did I have to add any additional modules. I noticed on the TPM-S2 it has a "gain adjuster" have you tried turning that up slightly?

I have not tried the gain control yet. I figured I would have gotten something out of it before having to adjust that. Do you have yours wired directly to the 110 block where the aux ports are punched down or how to you have it wired? What kind of wiring does the Bogan module have? The TPM-S2 has 3 terminals, a +, a - and a ground. The Peavey company told me to put a jumper wire between ground and -, and have one PBX wire in the + and one in the - with the jumper wire.

Sorry for the delay in getting back, been out of the office. :D

We had it wired directly from the aux card into the Bogan. The bogan had basically a tip & ring connection which I tied down to and that was all there was to it. I would assume you would do the same for your paging system, where you would just tied down to the terminals.
