Hello,
I am not a phone person. I am an NT & Novell person, but I need to add Loudspeaker paging to our Definity G3 system. I have the AUX card in and understand the speaker part. I have the CD PDF's and read thru them but the trunk, dialplan, and related are confusing. Can someone give me the simple steps needed to allow us to page the only zone with any phone in the building?

Thank you.

Hi
There is comand change paging loudspeaker . You should enter a port from TN763 board,
enter trunk access code for access this port's zone and assign a voice page timeout - 20-30 sec.
That's all. You only need to right connect a speaker amplifier to the port and dial the trunk access code to speak.

I use a computer active speakers but in that case I connect a phone without handset(off-hook)
to the port of TN763 in parallel to the speaker to make ohm balance.
good luck

Thank you,
The Trunk Access code wants to be part of the Dialplan. This is my problem. I don't understand the dialplan and how the TAC all work together.

Change Dialplan is the command , you will need to enter a dac Dial access code in one of the boxes depending on how many digits u want to use 1,2,3,4,5,6
Hope this helps

If you do a ch dial-plan, you should see a matrix in it will be things like extension DAC FAC. A TAC is going to be under DAC. The number to the right is the first digit dialed if the DAC is below a 3 then the number is 3 digits long and statrs with say a 2 if the number to the right is a 2. If you type LI TR and hit enter, you will see the TACs for your trunks. Then pick a number that is not being used.
Look!!! New Buttons
Same amount of time!

Thanks All Phoneman2
