Loud Screeching noise down headset

Hi All

I am looking for info, We have had reports from 5 different agents that they have recieved a loud screeching noise down there headsets in the past couple of months. all the Agents effected are on the outbound dailler (Genesys) which uses the trunk 414.

Is there any settings in the trunk form i should be aware off? has anybody had a similar sittuation?

My Setup - Avaya CM 5, 2420 digital handsets,

This will not help but misery loves company. We had screeching issues randomly on 64xx digital sets in mulitple locations. I reported it to Avaya years ago and they had no record of this. We would run traces, etc. and nothing showed up. Rebooted/swapped phones, etc. and since it was random with different users - could not catch it. We have since upgraded to CM6 and now have all IP sets. No more screeching.
 
turn off gain control on all phones

acss sme acis sme acss cm 5.2.1 acss cm and cmm acss aura messaging.
