Lotus Smartsuite 9.5 and Windows 2000

I am attempting to install Smartsuite 9.5 on a W2K box. We are running Novell Netware 4.11 I want to run a approach dispatch file that resides on the server. All the other workstations running w2k and launch and run this approach file, however, this one workstation gives me an error code "cannot open due to file exclusivity"

If I open the file by itself, it works, but it locks out the other users.

any suggestions?

1) Check under File, User setup, Approach Preferences and see that you have "optimistic record locking" checked on the "General" page of the dialog.

2) Check the settings for dbase file sharing under File, New database. Select the "Blank database" smartmaster and click OK. Then in the "New Dialog" click the Setup button. All three of the checkboxes should be checked.

3) Make sure you have "full" privileges to the network space where the databases are stored.

With all of those things set correctly, you should be able to access the databases!
