I've been using Lotus 5 in Windows 3.1, 95 and 98. And I like to be able to use lower case for file names. But for some reason, Windows XP insists on saving Lotus 5 spreadsheet files with ALL CAPS file names. This may be common for all 16-bit programs.
It seems to me there should be no reason why we should have to use ALL CAPS for file names, as if it's a DOS program. Earlier
I've read thru the 123r5w.ini file, but I don't see any setting for file name capitalization.
I even tried some XP registry hacks, but no luck so far.
Is everyone else getting this same problem of ALL CAP file names when saving? And does anyone have any ideas for fixing?
