Hi Guys,

Some advice please,

What do you think is the best way to find winners from a database? Jackpot is easy, but matching 3, 4, 5 and 5 + Bonus Ball had got me stumped.

Its out of 49 balls.

Is there an easy way to do it, or is it just gonna be a very long select statement?

How exactly (how easily?) are you getting the jackpot 6 numbers ?

The numbers are sorted into numerical order, so simply put, if ball1 = @ball1 AND ball2 = @Ball2 .....

Then there is a jackpot winner.

I have thoughtabout getting the other results, and feel thsat just counting the number of balls matched would work, but how would i do that....

if out of the 6 balls, 3 matched then the count would be three, but how would I obtain the count?
