Hi,

I read the post to the previous problem about the lost vvinesd.386 file, but in order to implement it I need to get my desktop to boot up. Here's what happened. Last night I was trying to network my computer with the other household computer. I'm not sure what I did, I'm not computer savvy. From the looks of it, I just need to get onto the computer and sort of work my may backwards through what I did to adjust the settings. But, when I boot the computer, nothing comes up other than the background. There is no start menu, no explorer, nothing. I tried to boot the computer in safe mode but I can't. If anyone has any advice, I'd be greatly appreciative. Thanks.
