I seem to have lost the volume control icon in my system tray in the taskbar (using WinXP Pro). If I go to Control Panel, Sounds, and then check the box to show the icon in the tray, I get the message to load the volume control using Add/Remove. If go to Windows components, there is nothing listed for volume control. How can I get this icon back into my system tray?
